Austin Freundlich was recently selected again as a "Rising Star" in the area of general litigation for Pennsylvania, an award only given to 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state. Mr. Freundlich is a general practitioner that concentrates his practice primarily on personal injury matters, breach of contract related litigation, premise liability, commercial litigation, and real estate related litigation.
Before becoming one of the founding members of Freundlich & Littman, LLC, Mr. Freundlich was employed for several years as an associate at the law firm of Sprague & Sprague. During his time there, Mr. Freundlich worked closely on a wide array of complex litigation, not typically encountered at such an early stage of an attorney’s career. Mr. Freundlich’s practice focused primarily upon civil litigation with particular expertise in the field of personal injuries, complex civil litigation, commercial litigation, and defamation. As co-counsel, he helped to secured multi-million dollar recoveries by way of verdicts or settlements with such varied clients as health insurance companies, law firms and private individuals. Mr. Freundlich has also worked alongside Richard A. Sprague in highly publicized criminal trials and matters before grand juries.
Mr. Freundlich obtained his law degree from the Villanova University School of Law. While in Villanova, Mr. Freundlich was a member of the Civil Justice Law Clinic and obtained several successful verdicts for his clients. During that time, Mr. Freundlich was also a law clerk for the Honorable Richard Klein of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. Mr. Freundlich is a member of the bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association and Philadelphia Bar Association.
Mr. Freundlich currently serves as a board member on the Villanova Minority Alumni Board. Mr. Freundlich also has worked closely with Young Friends, an arm of the Mission Kids, helping to fundraise for children who are child abuse victims.
